From the FreeSkool’s website: The Eugene FreeSkool is a brand new, volunteer run community platform for free education. Our monthly calendar has free classes, skill shares, community events & discussion groups within the Eugene area. We collaborate with teachers who host radical, creative & fun classes that are inclusive & accessible to everyone. We are interested in all kinds of workshops, with a special interest in D.I.Y., anti-oppressive work, decolonization, radical politics & resistance, survival skills & the arts. With the free distribution of knowledge, in a non-hierarchical & anti-capitalist environment, we aim to build mutual aid & self-reliance, while empowering the community to connect & share their skills.
